Crazy Auction for a Toy!
I was reading the news as usual today when I stumbled upon this one:
A rare Star Wars toy apparently sold for $112,000 at an auction in Pennsylvania last week. That’s right, that is $112 with 3 zeroes behind it!
Apparently it was a prototype of Boba Fett from 1979 that never made it to production.
This is why I love the collectibles world. It is so full of surprises and I love the fact that some people really appreciate a rare thing and are willing to pay the price for it.
I always tell my friends to hang on to their childhood toy collection. Who knows, they might be worth something someday.
