Happy New Year! Is the Toy Industry Dying?
Howdy, toyNerds! Hope everyone had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year celebration!
Can you believe 2022 is over? Now we get to start a new beginning with 2023, which is exciting!
Last year was definitely filled with ups and downs. At times, it felt like there were a lot more downs than ups. News of recession were everywhere, layoffs happened quite a bit, the stock market was down a lot, etc.
We would like to remind you guys that even though 2022 was a tough year for many of us, better days are ahead. We believe that we will continue to grow and thrive, despite of challenges and trials that will inevitably present themselves in 2023. So let’s be courageous and ready to take on 2023!
With regards of the toy industry, it seems that it is doing mighty fine. Lets take a look at the aftermath of Christmas.
Both Walmart and Target had almost empty shelves the day after Christmas. Popular toys such as LEGO, Hot Wheels, Mega were pretty much gone.
That is encouraging for us! It shows that the toy industry is doing well, despite of the challenges and downturn in the economy.
So don’t get discouraged, toyNerds! The best is yet to come!
